TSB provides electronic monitoring, proctor, and room supervisor services during the administration of exams. Examinees must adhere to the rules of the testing center or void services rendered in addition to any applicable fees associated with their test administration.

TSB provides electronic monitoring, proctor, and room supervisor services during the administration of exams. Examinees must adhere to the rules of the testing center or void services rendered in addition to any applicable fees associated with their test administration.

No refunds will be available upon VOIDING an exam (Please act accordingly).

Examinees may only schedule testing appointments from 9:00 AM thru 3:00 PM. If an exam will last longer than 5:00 PM then you must contact TSB for an appropriate time to test. If the total testing time extends beyond closing, or if the exam is untimed, then your exam will end at the close of business as is.

- Exams lasting more than two hours in length may be assessed an additional fee
- Valid government ID is required
- The testing center is an audio and video surveillance facility

The CLEP EXAM

CLEP testing requires Pre-Registration!
Prior to paying for your proctored reserved seating with the FAMU-TSB, you must first pay College Board for their CLEP test.

  • Setting an appointment for a Proctored Exam

  • The examinee must select their desired exam 24 hours (1 day) prior to testing in order for the appropriate Proctoring Service(s) to be applied.
  • Once they arrive at the testing center, test-takers must provide valid government photo ID and proof of payment of testing fees.
  • Rescheduling an appointment for a Proctored Exam

  • An examinee must submit a 'request to cancel testing appointment' form via email to famutesting@famu.edu at least two (2) business days prior to their scheduled testing time.
  • If an appointment must be changed, the examinee must reply to the confirmation email.
  • The Proctored Exam Appointment Process will be conducted entirely online via email. 
  • No appointments can be requested, changed, or confirmed entirely by phone or personal visit.
  • Repeated cancellations will result in the examinee no longer being able to take proctored exams at the Testing Center and forfeiture of administrative fees.

  • Prohibited Items: DO NOT BRING or use items listed below, as they are not allowed in the testing center. (Lockers are provided free of charge)

  • ·   Sunglasses, hoodies, coats & jackets
  • ·   Hats and scarves are not to be worn (unless religious in nature)
  • ·   Smartwatches, wallets, keys
  • ·   Cell phones, tablets
  • ·   Bluetooth devices
  • ·   MP3 players, earphones/headsets
  • ·   Accessories not medically necessary
  • ·   Mechanical pencils, pens, highlighters
  • ·   Scratch paper, pamphlets (Testing Center provides all materials needed)

  • Pre-approved items may be allowed in the Testing Room with advanced notification

  • ·   Food or drink (medical necessity)
