Portion of FAMU’s Wahnish Way Closed Until Week of May 23

Florida A&M University has announced that in an effort to help make the campus safer, a short portion of Wahnish Way will be closed until the week of May 23. The University is constructing a gate to control traffic on Wahnish Way to improve student safety.

Motorists who need to reach to the CASS complex, Howard Hall, Lawson Multipurpose Center, Gaither Gymnasium and MS Thomas building should enter the campus from the south on Wahnish Way. Access to the parking garage is still available coming north from Robert and Trudie Perkins Way.

Motorists traveling north and south in the vicinity of the campus are advised to use Perry Street or Adam Street. The closure should end during the week of May 23.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
